CORBIN A. McVEIGH
EDUCATION
CORBIN A. McVEIGH graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor from the Luskin School of Public Affairs. In 2017 he received his Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
During law school, Mr. McVeigh contributed to the Hastings Business Law Journal and participated on the Negotiation and Mediation Team. He also worked with the Public Law Research Institute, where he advocated for local and state governments in California to help develop solutions to complex public policy issues.
BACKGROUND
In 2023, Mr. McVeigh began his defense career as a workers’ compensation attorney in San Diego, representing employers, claims administrators, and insurance carriers in matters throughout California. In 2026, he joined the law offices of Samuelsen, Gonzalez, Valenzuela and Brown as an associate attorney. He currently handles workers’ compensation defense matters from the firm’s Long Beach office.
Before focusing on workers’ compensation, Mr. McVeigh worked as a civil litigation associate handling a broad range of complex matters for artists and members of the entertainment industry. He also represented plaintiffs in employment-related cases involving the California Labor Code, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Drawing on his litigation background, Mr. McVeigh is able to work closely with claims examiners and employers to provide practical, efficient, and effective representation.
